I’m an ordinary pastor who serves an extraordinary God. Twice a week I share insights based on decades of personal experience, shaped by centuries of traditional wisdom, and founded on the timeless truths of Scripture.

Who am I?

I’m pastor of First Presbyterian Church (EPC), Covington, TN. I’ve been in ministry for nearly thirty years serving in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. I have a M.Div. and D.Min. from Memphis Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow. I’ve served in a variety of roles on regional and denominational levels. Our congregation’s worship services are posted weekly to YouTube.
